Discussed action items that need to be ready for the second meeting with the professors and updated other sub-teams on asynchronous work:

  1. PCB schematic review to happen this week - different pin types required were counted after testing

  2. Mech. 3D printed some casings but they had some issues after testing different splicing software - will require further investigation to fix (going to try different printer, slightly redesign some features on the casing, etc.)

    1. Considering different fastening methods/reducing number of fasteners to save PCB surface area
    2. Redesigning top case to accommodate new TP4056 charging module - varying the thickness of the part and adding holes for threaded inserts
    3. Purchasing/machining aluminum this week to have entire prototype ready for next week’s meeting

  3. FW team prepped what they’re demoing to show at the meeting with the professors

  4. Tested GSR sensor readings to see is the signal requires amplification for a good reading

  5. Created slideshow for next week’s meeting

  6. Discussed how to transition into the “off” state with the current UI - need a way to tell the MCU to go into “safe mode” such that it’s safe to disconnect the battery
